Where to eat!

One of the best things about Goondiwindi is the food!

You don't have to walk too far in Goondiwindi to find a great cup of coffee. The main street is dotted with amazing cafes to help you curb your caffeine addiction!

Where to shop!

The beloved main street is a mecca for shoppers with a huge range of shops featuring something for everyone!

In these amazing stores, you will find local and international labels and wares with some stores stocking some of the most incredible fashion and homeware labels.

Whether it's Harry & Kit, Nutmeg Home, Suede Shoes, Momera, Goondiwindi Cotton or Sterling Belle – each is a treasure trove of fashion, homewares and gifts that are an experience within themselves. Goondiwindi is widely known for incredible shopping, so don't hold back and bring a little country luxury home with you!

Just remember that Goondiwindi likse to make the most out of their weekends so stores close at 12noon on a Saturday and most stores reopen on Monday at 9am.

Where to sweat!

Sweating isn't usually synonymous with a girls weekend but if you're the kind to stay active there's plenty of things to do here in Goondiwindi!

Book a session with Pip at Sculpt Pilates Studio and get busy working that sweat up! Floor to ceiling sheer white curtains, towering fiddle leaf figs and finishing your workout with a fresh, cold lavender washcloth over your eyes? Yeah, sign us up… You can even sit and soak in the view of the Macintyre River with a freshly made coffee from their hole-in-the-wall coffee cart, Sip by Sculpt on your way out too.

Or if you would prefer to go for a Hot Girl Walk, Goondiwindi has a wonderful river walk where you can admire the view of the Macintyre River while also marvelling at the local art sculptures and murals by artists along the way.

What to do!

Goondiwindi sure knows how to host an event – and for an experience of country luxury and hospitality at it's finest you can't go past The Picnic Races. Held in early April each year, this event is a fusion of fashion, colour, champagne, gourmet food stalls and great entertainment – oh, and horse races… For a VIP experience at this event, get your friends together and pre-book an Entertainment Package where you have a dedicated tent, chairs to give those dancing heels a break and delicious local catering and drinks packages.

But if you're here to enjoy the perks of a small town for a few days, you can do a number of things around the region including ticking off some of the art trail at Bowen Lane Murals, Sculptures on the River Walk and especially the Nungwai sculptures on the Cunningham Highway (3 minutes from town).
