Driving into Ilfracombe, you can't miss Lynn Cameron Machinery Mile, an amazing line-up of historic machinery stretching for more than one mile along the highway and includes the Historic Precinct which houses the Folk Museum, Oakhampton Cottage, Romani Hall and leads to the Wellshot Centre a step back in time and the founding of this unique town.
The Wellshot Hotel, which is original to the town founding, has some interesting décor to catch your eye. The Wellshot Hotel serves food from the Hatch Café early in the morning to lunch and dinner seven days.

The town also boasts an Artesian Spa, Pool, kids playground and BBQ area situated in the Memorial Park, where you can find a sculpture of local NRL Legend Matt Scott.
Take a drive to The Twelve Mile (20kms from Ilfracombe) remains off what was essentially a watering stop and Cobb & Co change station and the site of the Royal Mail Hotel. Just a little further on you discover the Stone Pitching a magnificent example of 19th-century craftsmanship. Thousands upon thousands of naturally formed flagstones, carefully sorted and then meticulously placed together to form a leak-proof reservoir to retain water so precious to the existence of everything.
