Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, proudly home to over 100 koalas and more than 70 species of native Australian wildlife.

Just 12 kilometres from Brisbane's CBD, Lone Pine offers an immersive and educational experience in a natural riverside setting. Guests of all ages can hand-feed free-ranging kangaroos, meet dingoes and wombats, and discover reptiles, birds, and the elusive platypus.

Enjoy a full daily schedule of wildlife presentations, including live keeper talks, a free-flight raptor show, and sheepdog demonstrations. For those wanting a deeper connection, unique animal encounters, behind-the-scenes experiences, and guided tours are also available.

As the sun sets, explore Lone Pine's nocturnal precinct and see a different side of the sanctuary on one of the exclusive twilight or night-time tours, a rare chance to encounter Australia's elusive night-dwellers.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is accredited by the Zoo and Aquarium Association, demonstrating a strong commitment to animal wellbeing, ethical care, and conservation leadership.

The sanctuary is wheelchair accessible and welcomes guests of all abilities, with accessible amenities and experiences available.
