Dunk Island Reef Adventures

Itinerary:

6.30am | Depart Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal

8.30am | Clump Point Marine Facility - Priority Boarding with light breakfast served of Muffins, Tropical Fruits and beverage of choice tea/coffee/juice.

9.00am | QuickCoast departs Clump Point Marina Facility

9.25am | QuickCoast arrives Dunk Island for day visitors to disembark.

9.45am | QuickCoast departs from Dunk Island bound for Beaver Cay & Reef.

10.55am | Arrival at Beaver Reef for snorkelling from QuickCoast or take a ride ashore to the cay in our ships tender.

12.00pm - 1.00pm | Fresh made to order lunch is served on board (Limited dietary options must be requested in advance)

2.20pm | QuickCoast departs Beaver Reef with a quick fish feeding before departure.

3.30pm | We arrive Dunk Island for an hour for multiple choices short beach walks and/or optional afternoon cocktails from the cafe.

4.30pm | QuickCoast departs Dunk Island

4.50pm | QuickCoast transfer back to Cairns

7.00pm | Arrive back at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal

Depart on the "Dunk Island Full Day Tour" tour from Cairns via deluxe coach. Dunk Island is covered mostly in national park, the tropical island is a nature lover's playground with beautiful walking trails and palm-fringed beaches. From the jetty, make a left and follow the beach until you reach the track signs leading to Muggy Muggy Beach and Mount Kootaloo. If you're up for a hike and fit for the challenge, set your sights on Mount Kootaloo first. The steep 7km-return track takes you through ancient fern forests and ironbark groves, past the rusty remains of a World War II radar station, to the island's highest point with pinch-yourself panoramic views of the Family Group of Islands.

9.45am | QuickCoast departs from Dunk Island bound for Beaver Cay & Reef.

10.55am | Arrival to Beaver Reef and prepare for 1st snorkelling safari from QuickCoast

12.00pm - 1.00pm | Fresh made to order lunch is served on board (Limited dietary options must be requested in advance)

1.00pm | 2nd snorkelling safari from QuickCoast

2.20 pm | QuickCoast departs Beaver Reef with tropical fruits served

3.30pm | We arrive Dunk Island for an hour for multiple choices short beach walks and/or optional Captain's afternoon cocktails

4.30pm | QuickCoast departs Dunk Island

4.55pm | QuickCoast arrives at Clump Point Marine Facility. Transfers back to local Mission Beach accommodations for guests.
