Located in Beech Street, the Masonic Lodge is a nationally heritage-listed building that houses an active Masonic temple. Constructed from timber and tin, the lodge’s facade is painted to resemble brick, adding a touch of classic elegance. While the back and sides of the building are clad in plain corrugated iron, the front showcases a unique and elaborate facade with horizontal timber boards painted to mimic traditional masonry.
Visitors can take a guided tour of the lodge with a Mason by request, arranged through the Visitor Information Centre. This historic structure offers a fascinating glimpse into the architectural and cultural heritage of Barcaldine.
