Punsand Bay is the ultimate base for any Cape York adventure. The address is right on the beach, just 5kms south-west of Australia's most northern point, The Tip "Pajinka".

The view takes in the beautiful blues of the Arafura Sea which wraps around the tropical archipelago of the Torres Strait Islands.

Punsand Bay is a family owned and operated off grid business offering guests a range of air-conditioned rooms, beachfront cabins, powered/unpowered campsites and The Corrugation Bar & Restaurant serving up our famous wood fired pizzas.

They love it up here, a place of outstanding natural beauty and historical significance.

Beachfront Camping

Beachfront powered and unpowered camping with large, shady sites available. Facilities include modern amenity blocks with hot showers and toilets, fire places, laundry facilities and basic communal shelters.

1 and 2 Bedroom Air Conditioned Cabins with ensuites

Relax in a one or two bedroom, spacious, air conditioned cabins with individual ensuite and big veranda.

Cabin configurations include: Queen/Queen, Queen/Twin or Twin/Twin.

Rollaway beds are subject to availability for an extra cost.

Facilities include air conditioning in each bedroom and 240 volt power, linen and towels provided, parking available in front of rooms, basic kitchenette and living area.

It is only a short walk to restaurant, bar, pool area and beach.

Beachfront Villa with air-conditioning and Ensuite

Experience ultimate relaxation in our newly renovated Beachfront Villas. The Villas are nestled amongst the trees with breathtaking ocean views. These twin-share villas are thoughtfully designed for comfort and tranquility.
