These group surfing lessons are small, ensuring each participant receives attention and feedback. Learn the basics, like standing up and catching waves, and important ocean awareness and surf safety rules. Most people joining our group lessons have little to no surfing experience, so these lessons tend to cover the basics.

The minimum age is 12 years old for the group surfing lessons.

These private lessons are popular with surfers of all ages and abilities! A private lesson ensures a more personal approach to your surfing experience, where the focus is completely on you or your group. And the lessons are complete tailored to your ability!

They are also perfect for kids, as they can still learn the basics but in a more practical fashion with an instructor close-by at all times to ensure they are safe. They are also invaluable for people with surfing experience as you gain an understanding of how to surf the local surf break as well as some handy tips, tricks and techniques to improve your surfing.

Private lessons give the flexibility to run lessons when conditions are best. They are constantly monitoring conditions and will know a minimum 3 days in advance as to whether conditions will be suitable for lessons. If conditions are not looking good, you will be offered an alternative date/time or a full refund.

The Surfing Improvement classes are for those wanting to take their surfing to the next level! These classes are for surfers with some surfing experience, including intermediate and advanced surfers, or for those that have already done one of the group or private surfing lessons. They are not suitable for people that have never surfed, or kids under the age of 15 years old.

All of the improvement classes focus on developing your surfing skills and confidence in the ocean. These classes are also a great way to meet new people of a similar surfing ability!
