Tinaroo ’N’ Tablelands Scenic Flights is a small family-owned business based in Tolga, on the Atherton Tablelands in tropical North Queensland. Located an hour and a half from Cairns and Port Douglas, the drive to Tolga is very scenic and enjoyable.

Company director and chief pilot Trevor Riley has been flying helicopters for over 20 years and has over 26 000 hours of flying experience. He has a wealth of knowledge about the industry and area, which he is passionate about sharing with guests.

They operate a Robinson R44 Raven 1 helicopter, which offers a reliable, high-performance flight experience. Its design offers great fuel economy, allowing them to offer passengers an excellent experience while reducing the environmental impact of our business.

The Atherton Tablelands is the perfect day trip from Cairns or Port Douglas. Small communities offer the perfect place to stop off and have lunch, with many cafes offering menus featuring fresh, local produce. The local farmlands are a productive source of delicious fresh fruit, vegetables, milk, farm-fresh cheese and yogurt.
