Horseshoe Bay Resort and Caravan Park, where the bush really does meet the beach, is situated at the tip of Cape Edgecumbe in Bowen. They are surrounded by four sandy beaches and the reef is just off shore making for some amazing snorkelling and diving.

Horseshoe Bay is a lifeguard patrolled beach during school holidays and on weekends in the warmer months. There is a boat ramp close by to launch from and check out the local fishing spots.

Their resort is on the circuit of one of the most scenic bush walks in the area, with rocky outcrops, beautiful scenery and fauna and flora, all for you to enjoy. Set on five acres of bush and tropical gardens, they are just five-kilometres from town with easy access to public transport. There are several dining options within walking distance and weekly markets on Sundays.
