Galangoor K'gari Retreat (Fraser Island Retreat) is located in Happy Valley on the Eastern Beach of K'gari (Fraser Island), about halfway between Hook Point (the southern tip) and Indian Head. The perfect location for venturing out every day to see the World Heritage Listed K'gari.

The cabins are only 200 metres back from the beach. The individual one and two-bedroom motel-style timber cabins are nestled on a hillside amongst native plants. Nine cabins are available. Each two-bedroom cabin sleeps six persons (two queen and two king single beds), and each one-bedroom cabin sleeps four persons (one queen and two king single beds). All cabins have a veranda, are fully screened, ensuite bathroom facilities, a 200-litre fridge freezer, and coffee tea making facilities. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied. You can also enjoy relaxing in the pool.

There are four "hotel rooms" -three rooms sleep four persons (one queen and two king single beds) and one has four single beds. Each hotel room has a dedicated bathroom (accessed via the short hallway) and its own fridge. All hotel rooms are air conditioned.

Satinay Bar and Cafe serves coffee food and drinks all day and also access to general store for grocery items, souvenirs, alcohol, fuel and an ATM.

There is a barbecue area and a pool for guests.
