The Witches Market returns to the Gold Coast for its fifth year, and this year they are celebrating Ostara (Easter) as it truly falls on this date in the Southern Hemisphere.
Ostara, also known as the Spring Equinox, is a Pagan festival rooted in ancient Germanic and Celtic traditions, particularly those honoring the goddess Eostre. It celebrates the arrival of spring, marked by the balance between day and night and the rebirth of nature.
The festival symbolizes fertility, rebirth, and renewal, aligning with the agricultural cycle and the increasing daylight
The Witches Markets are a safe space for all to be a part of Straight, LGBTQI+, Furry, Cosplayers, Steampunk, Goth, everyone as long as they respect each other, as the Pagans say do what you want but harm none
