Songs, Stories amd Sweet Things.

Spend a Sunday afternoon with two Brisbane creatives featuring music, art, stories, cake and good company. Family-friendly and open to all ages.

Monique Clare brings her cello, her songs and her famously candid stage presence for two sets of live music. Brisbane illustrator Ingrid Bartkowiak joins her with a reading of her award-winning picture book Naturopolis, original artwork on display and a market stall of her beautiful work. There'll be a bake sale, complimentary tea, and cushions on the floor for the little ones.

This is a neurodiverse-friendly event, you're welcome to draw, knit, colour in, move around or step outside as needed. Next door is a park, playground, BBQ and skatepark so families can make a full day of it, with plenty of space for kids to run off steam before settling in.

A note for parents: Kids are very welcome. Please prepare them to sit quietly during the music, bring colouring or a picture book if it helps. They can dance, clap and cheer between songs and step outside anytime they need a break.
