SeaLink K'gari (Fraser Island) Ferries

Get set to explore the World Heritage surrounds of K'gari (Fraser Island)! Fraser Island is strictly 4WD territory and Fraser Island Barges operate passenger and vehicle barges from Hervey Bay to help get you there.

The Kingfisher Bay vehicle barge operates between River Heads / Hervey Bay and Kingfisher Bay Resort daily.

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service permits are required for driving and camping on the island. Drivers should be aware of tide times and keep off the beach for two hours on either side of high tide.
