Warwick Art Gallery's Yarn Bombed Tree Exhibition

The much-loved Jumpers and Jazz in July festival is gearing up for another unforgettable year in 2026, with yarn lovers, creatives, and community makers helping transform Warwick's winter streetscape for the 2026 Yarnbombed Tree Exhibition. Heading into its twenty second year, the event continues to celebrate the joy of yarnbombing - an artform that wraps everyday objects in colour, warmth, and spirited imagination.

Each year, Warwick Art Gallery's Yarnbombed Tree exhibition turns Warwick's CBD into a gallery of handcrafted wonder. This year's theme "JAM" promises playful interpretations: think preserves and picnics, musical riffs and rhythm, cultural mash-ups, or the joyful notion of people coming together in a creative "jam session."

For yarnbombing artists the challenge is simple: warm your tree and warm the community. The results are anything but simple—around 80 trees become vibrant sculptural installations, each with its own story, texture, and personality.
