About the photographer
Michael Snedic is an Australian-based nature and wildlife photographer with more than 24 years' experience. Widely regarded as one of Australia's most accomplished and published nature photographers, his award-winning images have appeared in hundreds of publications in Australia and internationally.
Since 2001, Michael has written extensively on nature and photography for leading magazines including Australian Geographic, Wildlife Australia, BirdLife Australia, the UK's BBC Wildlife and Australian Photography + Digital, where he has been a feature writer since 2006.
