Heavy Horse Weekend

The Jondaryan Woolshed Heavy Horse weekend offers an exciting program of gentle giants demonstrating their skill and character and competing across a range of disciplines. The renowned Marlie Draught Horses from southern NSW will be in attendance. Their 11-horse team and 10-tonne wagon will be demonstrating bag loading, chaff cutting and harrowing.

Clydesdales, Belgians, and Australian Draught Horses will amaze visitors across the two-day competition that includes barrel race, ploughing, snigging, slide events and harness classes. The famous Woolshed will also present sheep shearing, blacksmithing, wheelwrighting, wagon rides, markets, food outlets and other family activities. Tea and damper will be in abundance.

Aceline Equestrian will present the amazing horse vaulting display. Enjoy a day of Queensland country hospitality. Book a campsite at the Woolshed's caravan park.
