The fabulous Huw Jones is back to conduct in a concert of music that captures the essence of place – real and imagined.

Close your eyes and be tossed on the wild seas with Brahms' Hebrides Overture, or imagine the brave & handsome Kalendar Prince from Rimsky-Korsakoff's Sheherazade. Thrill to Copeland's Hoedown, and Strauss' opening to "Thus spoke Zarathustra".

There's no place like home, and the highlight of this concert will be the premiere of Clifford Bradley's "Sunshine Coast Symphony"- featuring musical portraits of our iconic local landscapes. Thanks to Sunshine Coast Council for funding the commission of this piece.
