The second annual Lions Club Gympie Rush to the Rattler is back bringing together fun, fitness and community spirit in one unforgettable morning.

Starting at the Gympie Gold Mining Museum and finishing at the historic Gympie Station, participants can choose from a thee kilometre walk-friendly course perfect for families, a five kilometre run for those looking for a challenge, or a 10 kilometre route designed for keen runners. Check-in opens from 6:00am with the first race beginning at 6:30am.

After crossing the finish line, enjoy a sausage on bread and bottled water, included with your entry. Additional food, coffee and drinks will be available for purchase. Then, relax and take in the scenery on a ride aboard the Silver Bullet train back to Monkland Station, followed by a short walk to the Gympie Gold Mining Museum.

Souvenir hats are available to pre-purchase and can be collected during registration on the morning of the event.

This family-friendly event is open to all ages, though children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Be sure to bring your water bottle, sunscreen and hat for a safe and enjoyable day.
