The North Australian Festival of Arts (NAFA) is a dynamic celebration of arts, culture and community that lights up Townsville from late September to early October.

From cabaret under the stars to laugh-out-loud comedy, boundary-pushing theatre, mesmerising dance and vibrant visual art, NAFA showcases an eclectic mix of local and national talent alongside international acts including powerful First Nations performances, storytelling and cultural experiences that connect audiences to the world's oldest continuing cultures.

With its central hub at the stunning Strand Park, framed by ocean views of Magnetic Island and the backdrop of Castle Hill, the festival offers the perfect blend of tropical beauty, creative energy and deep cultural connection.

Whether you're a seasoned arts lover or simply looking to try something new, NAFA invites you to experience bold ideas, diverse voices and stories grounded in place, imagination and tradition.

Book early to secure your place at one of Northern Australia's most exciting and culturally rich arts experiences.
