Blackall 100 is more than a race – it's an experience that immerses you in community, culture and stunning trails. Set in the lush Sunshine Coast Hinterland, this much‑loved event follows the spectacular Great Walk of the Sunshine Coast, weaving through towering forests, deep gullies and ridge lines with sweeping views that change with every turn.
With distances of 100 kilometres, 50 kilometres and 21 kilometres, there's a challenge for everyone – from seasoned ultra runners to keen walkers ready to step up and try something big and memorable. A generous 24‑hour cut‑off for the ultra distances means you have time to settle in, find your rhythm and truly enjoy the journey at your own pace.
The weekend begins with a powerful Indigenous smoking ceremony on Friday night, honouring Country and setting the tone for a meaningful, shared experience on the trails. Hosted at QCCC Mapleton, you can choose convenient onsite packages or make it a Hinterland escape, staying in one of the many cosy local bed and breakfasts and cafes.
And when you conquer your distance and cross that finish line, you'll cap it all off by ringing the iconic Blackall 100 bell – a simple, spine‑tingling moment that says "I did it".
