The Merino Cabin is a self-contained unit that has been newly renovated to offer Charlotte Plains' most upscale accommodation option. It features an open-plan kitchen and dining area, along with two bedrooms. Relax and enjoy the serene surroundings on your private deck, complete with a hammock and BBQ.

Situated at the centre of the property, this accommodation is located 8.5km from the Bore Campsite featuring our Artesian Hot Springs and baths, 1km from the Private Bathing Hut and 2km from the Homestead.

Amenities include fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, clean linen & towels, air conditioning, private deck, hammock, BBQ. Shared laundry facilities are only 100m.

Pets are not permitted inside the Merino Cabin but are welcome on the deck or can be tied up nearby on a leash. Please ensure that pets are well-behaved and any mess they create is promptly cleaned up.

Fires are permitted and there is wood available for your own collection.

The Shearer's Quarters, which historically housed sheep shearers at Charlotte Plains, offers basic accommodation. In the Quarters, there are six Twin Single rooms (two king single beds per room) and two Double Rooms (one double bed per room).

Pets are not permitted inside the rooms, with the exception of two designated pet-friendly rooms — one double room and one twin single room. A 'Pet Cleaning' fee applies for these rooms. Pets must sleep on a pet bed or on the floor, not on the bed. If you are not staying in a designated pet room, your pets are welcome on the deck or can be tied up nearby on a leash. Please ensure that pets are well-behaved and any mess they create is promptly cleaned up.

Camp right in the heart of Charlotte Plains at the unpowered Bore Campsite. Enjoy the hot artesian baths or unwind with a drink at the Bore Baa.

The Bore Campsite is located 4km off the highway, 8.5km from the Shearer's Quarters and Campsite and 10.5km from the Homestead.

Sites are not allocated so you can pick your spot on arrival. With plenty of space, you can camp near the Bore Head or further down the Bore Drain, for more peace and quiet.

Amenities include Hot Artesian baths, ablution block with three flushing toilets and three showers, two toilets/shower combo, several long drops around the campsite, shared laundry facilities (located at the Shearer's Quarters).

WIFI/Phone: 10 mins Free WIFI, then paid-for service at $10 for 3 days. There is NO 3G, 4G, or 5G phone reception.

Generators: Permitted between 8am and 8pm.

Pets: Pets are permitted at the Bore Campsite. Dogs are not allowed in bath tubs or in the main area of the Bore Drain (you may take them further down the drain). Please ensure that they are well-behaved and that any mess they make is cleaned up.

The Shearer's Campsite at Charlotte Plains is ideal for those seeking an outback camping experience with the luxury of a powered site. The campsite is located 8.5km from the Bore Campsite which is home to the Artesian Hot Springs and Baths. It is only 1km from the Private Bathing Hut.

Sites are not allocated so you can pick your spot on arrival.

Amenities: shared kitchen, shared laundry, and shared bathroom accessible at the Shearer's Quarters accommodation.
