這家公司由當地業者自有經營，採環保方式營運，帶您認識使命海滩（Mission Beach）外的海岸水域，包括純淨的碼頭國家公園（Marine National Park）和家庭島國家公園（Family Island National Park）。
They provide transfers for passengers and/or freight to the nearby Family Group of islands from Mission Beach. Whether you wish to travel to Dunk Island for a day trip or overnight while camping, they can deliver you and/or you belongings in a hassle free fashion at the time that you desire.
They also service Bedarra Island, either to Bedarra Island Resort or East Bedarra to any one of the seven holiday rental properties. They can help with the logistics of sourcing supplies too - just ask Bec, she's more than happy to help anyway she can!
If you feel like wetting a line, they can take you to a variety of locations to try your luck. It simply depends on which fish species you are targeting and how much time you have. The local river systems are good for flathead, mangrove jack, grunter, barramundi and whiting to name a few, or if you prefer, you can target coral reef fin fish like coral trout, red emperor, nannygai and sweetlip around the islands and at the reef. The choice is yours!
Winter time is great for mackerel and their skipper knows where to find them. Bait, tackle, rod and reels are supplied (but bring your own gear if you prefer), plus an esky with ice to keep your catch fresh!
Visit several fringing reef locations around the Family or Barnard Islands or inner Great Barrier Reef locations to view coral gardens and see a variety of marine life. Completely tailored choice of either: half day charter of up to five hours or a full day charter of up to eight and a half hours. Departs upon demand on any day, locations for beach pickup by vessel are weather dependent. If beach embarkation is not viable due to weather, departure will be from a choice of two boat ramp/pontoon locations at either end of Mission Beach. Clients, keeping in mind the length of the tour and any weather or tide restrictions, can tailor departure times to suit individual needs.
Cruise through the pristine waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park around the Family Islands and/or Barnard Islands with their knowledgeable skipper. Learn about local flora, fauna and both geological and human history while spotting some of the vast array of birds and animals that reside in the area.
Stop to explore the islands and stretch your legs, jump in the water for a swim or a snorkel or to simply enjoy a bite to eat.
Completely tailored choice of either: a minimum three hours charter; or half day charter of up to five hours; or full day charter of up to eight and a half hours.
Clients can discuss what they'd like to see and do with their skipper.
Why not treat yourself and a special someone to a romantic picnic on a deserted island? Choose from several island or beach locations, and let Mission Beach Charters take care of the catering. Sit back and enjoy a sumptuous meal in idyllic surrounds, while contemplating a swim or snorkel.
There are several picnic options to choose from, and they can cater to any dietary requirements you may have.
Every picnic includes a picnic rug, shade shelter, crockery, cutlery, table linen, juice and water and, wherever possible, picnic ingredients are sourced locally or Australian grown.
If you'd prefer to cater for yourself, they can supply the transfers out to your island destination instead.
Spend a whole day relaxing in the sun, or just a few hours.
Would you like to go camping on a tropical island? They can take you there so you can get up close and personal to a beautiful piece of paradise for a fraction of the cost of resort accommodation. They can offer package and group discounts and multi day hire rates that suit most budgets.
Mission Beach Charters are also an over-the-counter booking agent for Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, (now part of Department of Environment and Resource Management), so they can provide you with your official permits and tags, required by law, for any National Park in Queensland.
