Queens Beach boasts a long white sandy beach, offering visitors and locals a five kilometre stroll with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Facing north - northeast, Queens Beach is protected from Bowen's south easterly breeze, resulting in many glassy days, perfect for spotting whales during winter. Queens Beach is also a great spot to fish and relax by the water's edge. Adjacent to the northern end of Queens Beach is a large playground, exercise equipment and walk ways to Yasso Point and the mouth of the Don River.
