Full Itinerary

Ray Townson Park is situated approximately one kilometre to the north of Claude Dooley Park and can be accessed from Sylvan Drive or alternatively from the beach. There are a number of amenities that are available on site and a kiosk and telephone box that are conveniently located opposite the park.

The Coastal Pathway finishes at Claude Dooley Park, but you can take a walk to the beach and enjoy the feel of sand on your feet and the wind in your hair. The Kolan River Conservation Park is situated at the very end of Moore Park Beach. It is a great spot to camp, picnic, fish and bird watch.

The avid nature enthusiast and bird lover will enjoy walking along the shaded section of the pathway on the western side of Park Drive. Opposite the Lagoon there is a small Flora and Fauna Park- a great place to rest or for the kids to play in the playground. Close by is the Bicentennial Sports Oval, Moore Park Tennis Court, Bowls Club and Memorial Gardens.

The Park and Recreational hub is located on the eastern side of Park Drive. Along this part of the route you will come across the Moore Park Beach Surf Life Saving Club, skate park, BMX jumps, children's playground, offering a bountiful range of activities to enjoy. Beach access is available at this point.

Continuing along Park Drive, you will arrive at the Claude Dooley Park, an ideal place to have a picnic or simply just relax. From Palm View Drive, you can jump onto the 10,000 Steps signed pathway that will take you along Murdochs Road all the way to Moore Park State School.
