ATTRACTIONS

Get in touch

Tregole National Park is home to the rare Ooline tree (Cadellia pentastylis), which dates to the Pleistocene Era.

Tregole National Park straddles the boundary between two natural regions, the Brigalow Belt and the Mulga Lands. A 2km interpretive walk introduces you to these regions and to many arid zone plant species.

Discover the variety of plant and animal life where two biogeographic regions meet—the Brigalow Belt and the Mulga Lands. Mulga clothes Tregole’s ridges; brigalow grows on areas with heavy clay soils; while woodlands of poplar box and Mitchell grasslands are found on the park’s undulating plains.
