Spoilsport's specially designed itineraries provide more diving and more relaxed diving. Quickly you will notice there is no rush or limit placed on your dive time. You benefit from the industry's best trained and qualified staff. Seven of the 12 person crew are dive masters or instructors.

The three night 'Fly Dive Cod Hole' expedition departs Cairns every Monday and offers prime Ribbon Reef dive sites which suit every type of diver. The four night 'Fly Dive Coral Sea' expedition departs Cairns every Thursday and is geared towards the more adventurous diver and offers great diving in the remote Coral Sea. Both departures include a spectacular low-level reef flight just 180 metres above the Great Barrier Reef. The seven night 'Coral Sea Safari' expedition provides a combination of both three and four night expeditions and offers you the best Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea diving with no repeat dive sites except the world famous Steve's Bommie.

Fly Dive Coral Sea

Get spoilt onboard Spoilsport, a custom designed twin hulled liveaboard with spacious sundeck, al fresco deck, saloon and large fully equipped dive deck. Begin your adventure by exploring Steve’s Bommie, Joani’s Joy and Clam Beds. Overnight you venture 120 miles beyond the Great Barrier Reef to the crystal clear waters and plummeting walls in the Coral Sea. Includes two to three shark attraction dives with hundreds of sharks including the 'Amphitheatre', a spectacular big fish and shark dive.

Fair Weather Itinerary: Weather permitting, spend the full expedition at their best selection of Coral Sea dive sites. 80 miles beyond the Great Barrier Reef explore the offshore atolls of Holmes, Bougainville and Osprey Reefs. Experience big fish action in 40 metre visibility. Shark attraction dives at Holmes Reef plus the amazing Amphitheatre shark dive at Osprey reef. *This itinerary does not include the Great Barrier Reef.

Enjoy the luxurious motor yacht atmosphere and the attentive crew topped off by a spectacular low-level reef flight from Lizard Island to Cairns.

Experience: Not suitable for children, snorkelers and novice divers. Advanced Open Water certification required or 10 logged dives with five in the last 12 months.

Fly Dive Cod Hole

You start with an incredible 250 kilometre low level scenic reef flight to Lizard Island, gliding just above the reefs you'll be diving. Soon you are swimming with diver size fish at the Cod Hole before exploring the exquisite Ribbon Reef sites north of Cooktown. Here you see the best concentrations of pristine corals, colourful tropical fish and fantastic Minke whale encounters in June/July. Enjoy comfortable cruising within sheltered waters aboard Spoilsport where space, comfort and stability are unmatched. Suitable for: novices to advanced divers, mad keen photographers and snorkellers.

Coral Sea Safari

Begin your adventure by diving Steve’s Bommie, Joani’s Joy and Clam Beds. Overnight you venture 120 miles beyond the Great Barrier Reef to the crystal clear waters and plummeting walls in the Coral Sea. Witness the Amphitheatre shark feed, you can photograph these sleek high order predators at close-range or not so close! The second half of this expedition is within the sheltered waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Here, you see the best concentrations of pristine corals, colourful tropical fish and rare critters.

Fair Weather Itinerary: Day one to three. Weather permitting, 80 mile cruise to our best selection of Coral Sea dive sites at Holmes, Bougainville and Osprey Reefs. Big fish action in 40 meter visibility. Shark attraction dives at Holmes Reef plus the amazing Amphitheatre shark dive at Osprey Reef. Days four to six are spent at the Ribbon Reef sites, as per the Standard Itinerary above.

Experience: Novice to advanced divers. It is best suited to the adventurous diver. They can accommodate one or two less experienced divers. This may mean sitting out the odd dive if conditions are beyond their ability.

Mt Hypipamee Crater and Dinner Falls
