Freedom III is a 17 metre Power Cat perfectly suited to luxury whale watching in Hervey Bay Queensland. Three levels of uninterrupted viewing plus a water level platform gets you as close to the whales as possible making this an ideal Whale Watch Vessel. The hydrophone lets you hear the whales sing.

The three quarter day tour allows you hours to relax, unwind, be awestruck and pampered while enjoying delicious catering for morning, afternoon teas and tropical buffet lunch. Freedom is surveyed for 46 people maximum for Whale Watching and day touring so you won't feel crowded. Service and comfort is paramount. The whale watching tour is now eco-tourism accredited. They care about the environment and the creatures around them.

Their crew want to make your time on Freedom III enjoyable, memorable and fun. From November to June they are available for charter for private functions, overnight expeditions and mother shipping adventures within the Great Sandy Strait Marine Park. The views of Fraser Islands western beaches are breathtaking and and water is usually calm and cool.

Freedom III Fishing Charters

Fishing the rich waters between Lady Elliot Island, Fraser Island and Hervey Bay many excellent sports fish and reef fish species can be targeted. Species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Sweetlip, Pearl Perch, Parrot, Yellow-fin Tuna, Giant Trevally, Long-tail Tuna, Snapper and many others are encountered.

Fully catered by experienced charter crew. Accommodation in 2 double cabins and bunks. Chef prepared breakfast, morning tea, lunch and dinner daily.

Bait and some tackle supplied. Operating from November to June. Get a group together and get onboard for thrilling offshore fishing!

Freedom III is a 17 metre Power Cat which was previously owned by well known underwater documentary producer Ben Cropp. It offers a three-quarter day tour including delicious tropical buffet lunch, morning and afternoon teas. Complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee are available all day. Operating from Great Sandy Straits Marina tours depart at 9.30am and return by 3.30pm to give you maximum time with the whales. 360 degree viewing on three levels as well as water-level viewing platform gives you up close and personalised interaction opportunities. Experienced and friendly local owners and crew make your whale encounter a memorable and educational one. Children are well catered for with colouring activities, a flat screen television and a comfy bed if they need a nap. Courtesy transfers are available.
