Continue toward the Sandfly Creek Environmental Walkway, where the mouth of the Pioneer River meets the Coral Sea. If your family enjoys fishing, there is a designated fishing platform on the Bluewater Trail to drop a line.
The Sandfly Creek Environmental Walkway will lead to Iluka Park, an all-abilities children’s playground. With disabled access and interactive play equipment for children. The park is located beside Town Beach.

One wayA short 10 minute walk from Town Beach is Queens Park, with a range of playground activities and wide-open spaces to enjoy a family game of cricket.
