Surf lessons with Epic Ocean Adventures, home of Australia’s longest and safest beginner wave. They take you away from the crowds where you can learn to surf on super fun long waves that will make your progression rewarding and fast. This hidden gem is only accessible by four wheel drive through the Great Sandy National Park and they take you on an exciting beach drive adventure to the spectacular Double Island Point. This location features a long sandy point break with waves that seem to go forever and one of the easiest most satisfying waves you can ever learn to surf on. You could be riding waves for well over hundreds of metres on your first surf lesson.

Learn to surf in waist deep water with friendly instructors that are highly experienced and qualified to get you surfing and having fun in a safe environment. They guarantee that you will stand up on your first surf lesson!

This tour departs beautiful Noosa, Queensland and is located one and a half hours north of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast. Please allow five to six hours for the tour.

They take you on a stunning beach drive into the Great Sandy National Park up to the spectacular Double Island Point. Double Island Point is only accessible by four wheel drive, it's away from the crowds and into the heart of the Great Sandy National Park where many of the local and migrating wildlife can be experienced.

Large Bottlenose Dolphin pods, Humpback whales (June to November), turtles, manta rays, sting rays, soldier crabs in their thousands, migrating sea birds are all common there.

They take you on a gentle paddle around the headland taking in the breath taking views and natural surroundings of the area as well as seeing the Double Island Point Lighthouse from a unique view. Bottlenose dolphin pods are seen here often feeding on large schools of fish and are often as curious as they are and can give you an experience of a lifetime!

Harold Wilson, from nearby Cooranga station, privately commissioned the memorial, presenting it to Rawbelle and Gayndah councils in 1921 in honour of the 270 local men who enlisted in WWI.
