Meet a local! Brisbane Greeters is a free public service open to everyone. Whether you're a local, here on business, a student, visiting or choosing Brisbane as your new home, they're looking forward to meeting you.

Brisbane Greeters are locals who love living here so much that they are enthusiastic about introducing you to their city, and sharing their intimate knowledge. There are two types of greets offered through Brisbane Greeters: Greeter's Choice or Your Choice.

Brisbane Greeters is a free public service. To assist in funding the ongoing operations for this amazing free public service, please consider making a donation through their website.

Greeter's Choice

See Brisbane through the eyes of a friendly local on a Greeter's Choice Greet.

Your Greeter will take you on a fascinating journey by covering a variety of interests and areas they find particularly interesting - they'll show you the Brisbane they love and know best.

Departs 10am daily, seven days a week from outside Brisbane City Hall (King George Square Entrance)

Your Choice

What are you most interested in exploring and experiencing during your visit to Brisbane? You can tell them what you'd like to see and do by booking a Your Choice Greet.

Choose up to three Interests and/or one Area from the following Interests and Areas:

Interests include Public art and contemporary design; Major cultural attractions; Major heritage buildings; Education and scientific discovery; Sport; Aboriginal Heritage; Penal colony and early settlement history; and Wartime and "The Americas" Chapters.

Areas include City Precincts; Riverside Precincts; and Parklands and Gardens.

Grasstree Beach is one of the most picturesque and beautiful beaches in the Mackay Region, located within a 15 minute drive from Sarina. Nestled in sheltered Zelma Bay, the shallow beach is a popular swimming destination, although it is not patrolled.

Daintree
