Tap'd

Booval, Ipswich Area

If you're in Ipswich and love your craft beer and mouthwatering food, then Tap'd at the PA Hotel will be paradise for you. Boasting 72 beers and ciders on tap, Tap'd is the largest craft beer bar in the southern hemisphere. Brands such as Queensland's Green Beacon Brewing and Victoria's Bridge Road Brewers are represented, while wine lovers are not forgotten with the extensive wine list.

A cool retreat out of the heat, Tap'd carries its beer theme throughout, from the keg light fittings to a brick feature wall adorned with greenery that has a beer and cider tap fountain which you can enjoy from the comfort of leather sofas. Sit on the bar stools at the high wooden tables or go for the more traditional table and chairs area. Wherever you sit, you have a great view of the sports channels on several televisions. There are also new high-tech bar tables with 42 inch screens so you can sit and play arcade games while enjoying an ale or two.

Food options that complement the beer offerings range from pizza and burgers to steaks and slow cooked shared plates of Sticky Barbecue Ribs or Beef Brisket.
