Not Far to Go Now

Charters Towers, Charters Towers Area

3 – 8 March 2018 -

Free Entry

Katie Jones is a classically trained artist who works primarily in charcoal. She lives with her husband and three children in Pentland; her family are her primary subjects. Born and raised in Canada, it was after she met her husband and moved to the Australian bush that she 'found her muse'. The images in 'Not Far to Go Now' have been used to illustrate a children's book sharing the same name. The book, which tells the story of a cattle muster, will be launched at the opening of the exhibition.
