Reef House Resort and Spa offers beach house ambience and tranquillity. The resort's 69 rooms all feature private balcony or patio with ocean, tropical garden or pool views, cool terracotta tiles, romantic muslin netting white bed linen, unexpected luxuries of the Brigadier rooms include a hanging love swing. The Verandah rooms offer a large outdoor area, many of which include a private spa inside or on the balcony.

With a backdrop of rainforest covered mountains, The Reef House Resort's surroundings embrace tropic-style with sun-drenched terraces and turquoise swimming pools, as well as an honesty bar and signature restaurant offering North Queensland menu with beautiful ocean front views. The Reef House Day Spa offers guests a relaxing range of therapies including nail and make up services, spa products used are all Organic Botanicals and Australian made.

Brigadier beachfront Spa room

The Brigadier beachfront Spa rooms are located at the front of the resort with ocean views, King bed or twin beds. The private Spa is located inside the room, the balcony or patios have double swing seats.

Brigadier Room

Elegantly designed to capture the charm of the original Brigadier's house, these studio-style rooms feature a balcony or terrace with a romantic double lounge swing, and overlook pools and tropical gardens. Available as double (one King bed) or twin (two Single beds), the bathroom has a shower only.

Verandah Room

These pool or garden view rooms open onto a wide verandah that captures the stylish elegance of tropical living. A spacious open plan room perfect for relaxing with cocktail in hand after a busy day sightseeing. Available as a Double (one King bed) or Twin (two Single beds), there is room for a rollaway bed at an additional cost. A Special Access room is also available on the ground floor with two Single beds or one King bed .

Verandah Spa Room

Perfect for honeymooners or a romantic escape, these spacious rooms are similar to the Verandah Rooms, with the luxurious addition of a private double spa bath on the verandah. Available as a Double (one King Bed) only.

On the Rainforest circuit in Ravensbourne National Park, large Sydney blue gums (Eucalyptus saligna) emerge through the rainforest canopy. Walkers can admire many attractive ground ferns, epiphytic ferns and vines growing in the understorey and along the higher section of this walking track the remains of an Aboriginal yam-digging site can be seen.
