Granite Belt Brewery Retreat is the only resort in Queensland that boasts it's very own onsite brewery - Granite Belt Brewery.

With 19 cosy timber cabins including spa and family cabins - all with log fires, a house that sleeps 10 guests, an onsite restaurant and bar and a brewery and function room, Granite Belt Brewery Retreat really does have it all.

Nestled amongst the hills surrounding the Queensland border town of Stanthorpe, Granite Belt Brewery Retreat is located on 30 acres of beautiful Australian bushland, yet is only a five minute drive from Stanthorpe town centre.

As the sun sets, wander down to the main homestead for a tasting paddle of Geoff's craft beer or a local wine or cider. The rustic ambience of exposed beams and timber panelling, chesterfield lounges, an open fireplace and the friendliest staff, ensure a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind before moving to the dining room for a heart-warming meal showcasing local produce.

Our Rooms

Cabin

Each private cabin has a queen and single bed, ensuite shower and toilet, LCD screen with DVD player and a fireplace. The kitchenette contains tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster and a fridge. Enjoy a bottle of local Stanthorpe wine while you relax on your private verandah.
Ramp access is available in two of the cabins.

The three ground-level suites provide easy access for those with prams or wheelchairs and are perfect for groups. Set on the flat next to the main homestead and overlooking the dam, these comfortable cedar suites offer a queen and single bed, ensuite shower and toilet, LCD screen with DVD player, fireplace and private patio. The kitchenette contains tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster and a fridge.

Family Cabin

With a queen bed and bunk beds, the family cabins comfortably accommodate two adults and two children. A rollaway bed is available for a 5th guests. The kitchenette contains tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster, microwave and a fridge. There is an ensuite shower and toilet, LCD screen with DVD player, fireplace and private veranda.
Located in front of a large playing field, parents can watch their children play from their verandah.

Relax in a luxurious spa at the end of a busy day of wine tasting and sightseeing. Surrounded by tea light candles, enjoy a long soak in the spa and watch the crackling fire with your loved one. Each spa cabin has a queen bed, ensuite shower and toilet, LCD screen with DVD player and a fireplace. The kitchenette contains tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster and a fridge. Enjoy the bush outlook from your veranda.

Hidden House

It's not called Hidden House for nothing!

Tucked away on the far side of the property, Hidden House is a four bedroom, three bathroom holiday house with all the facilities you need to enjoy a longer escape from reality. Hidden House sleeps up to 10 guests and has it's own cubby house for the kids.

With a large lounge room with log fireplace, what a great space to regroup at the end of a busy day of sightseeing and exploring. A full kitchen and laundry mean you have all the comforts of home. Enjoy the sounds of the bush on the large, front verandah which is fully screened to ensure no mosquitos!

A five minute walk to the onsite brewery - Granite Belt Brewery and Restaurant, make hidden house the perfect place for a family or group getaway.

Open Plan Cabin

These comfortable timber cabins are open plan style.
Each cabin has a queen size bed and a single bed on the opposite side of the cabin.
There is an ensuite bathroom and a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, a bar fridge with freezer, log fireplace and your own verandah.
All linen, cutlery and crockery are supplied and breakfast is included with every stay.

Tree House Cabins

These cabins are scattered amongst the trees and granite boulders.
The bedroom is separate from the rest of the cabin, which is good when there are children sleeping.
There is a queen bed and a single bed with a desk area in the bedroom as well.
The kitchenette has a bar fridge and freezer and all cutlery, crockery and glassware is supplied. There is tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster.
The lounge area has a log fireplace.
Fire screens are supplied as is firewood.

Famous not only for the infamous “Eulo Queen” and the hotel named after her but also for the abundant local produce and product as well as opal and craft which can all be purchased in the town.

Nindigully

Just 45 kilometres south east of St George, Nindigully or "The Gully" as it's locally known, is pretty much four houses and a pub on a riverbank. But what a pub, what a view and what characters you'll find!

Cunnamulla

Cunnamulla, Paroo Area
Cunnamulla locals reckon that in their town, the handshake's stronger and the smile lasts longer. Perhaps that's why Slim Dusty's 'Cunnamulla fella' has become the epitome of bush folk and the bronze statue of him in the main street immortalises the larrikin in all Australians as he sits on his swag enjoying the moment.

Bulloo River
