Free Range Bike Hire and Tours is a family run business that offers premium bicycle hire and tour services. They are the only company that offers electric bicycle tours make it possible to get to great spots with ease. Their tours allow guests to discover Brisbane with a local and with no more than four guests per tour. As such, their tours are very personal and allow guests to see more than they ever would on foot.

As well as taking in the beautiful city, Brisbane has a very unique history. Their guides will bring this history to life with interesting stories and accompanying photos. Tours also stop at unique local cafes or bars to take in the area and enjoy a drink.

Free Range also offers evening tours to allow guests experience the changing scenery as day turns to night. Seeing the city and iconic Story Bridge lit up is an experience in itself.

The Brisbane Discovery Tour is for anyone wanting to see more of Brisbane while also discovering the city's unique history. All tours are conducted on easy to ride electric bikes making for a relaxing ride. Hills are not a problem for anyone on an electric bike.

This tour has a maximum of four guests making it very personal. Every guest is able to ask questions and stop for photos without worrying about holding up a big group. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and are passionate about Brisbane and it's history.

You will ride around the river taking in Brisbane's best views. You will also ride down quiet back streets in some of Brisbane's oldest suburbs getting a feel for how the city has evolved.

This tour includes water and snacks as well as a stop at a local cafe to try a fresh cool drink of your choice.

Perfect for anyone who wants to experience what Brisbane is really made of.

The Beer and Lights Tour is for anyone wanting to see more of Brisbane as the sun goes down and the lights come on. All tours are conducted on easy to ride electric bikes making for a relaxing ride. Hills are not a problem for anyone on an electric bike.

This tour has a maximum of four guests making it very personal. Every guest is able to ask questions and stop for photos without worrying about holding up a big group. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and are passionate about Brisbane and it's history.

You will ride around the river taking in Brisbane's best views. This tours will take you to some of the best vantage points in the city as the lights come one. With a little less talking and more admiring, it is an amazing way to see Brisbane. We will also stop for a quick beer toward the end of the tour so you can ask your guide any questions about Brisbane and take in a local beer.

Gin Gin

Gin Gin must be one of the only towns in Australia that can link bushrangers, thick scrub, red soil and barramundi together through its unique and varied history and landscape. A perfect pit stop on your way North or South, Gin Gin is often referred to as Wild Scotsman country as one of Queensland's rogue bushrangers was captured here in 1866.

Good Night Scrub National Park

Hoop pines, bottle trees and dry rainforest provide a wildlife haven in Goodnight Scrub National Park bounded by the Burnett River. The river is also one of the known habitats of the unique ‘living dinosaur’ Australian lungfish.

Gayndah

Gayndah lays claim to being the oldest towns in Australia, founded in 1849 maintaining its old fashioned charm today. Several buildings have been heritage listed including Mellors Drapery (one of the few buildings in Australia which still uses a flying fox to deal with transactions), old section of the State School, Gayndah Soldier's Memorial
Hall (Town Hall and Council Chambers), Racecourse and several rail bridges.

Mount Perry

Mount Perry settlement began in the late 1840s with the taking up of large sheep grazing stations, mining activity began in the 1860s and the discovery of rich copper deposits led to a mining boom. Today there is still mining activity in the town.

Apple Tree Creek

Apple Tree Creek, Bundaberg Area
Apple Tree Creek is a convenient stop on the way to either Bundaberg or Gin Gin, just outside of Childers. A family-friendly picnic ground with great facilities is on the left as you enter Apple Tree Creek from the south.

Cordalba

Cordalba, Bundaberg Area
Cordalba is home to a fantastic Bed and Breakfast just off the highway which offers fresh sea perch fishing opportunities and local produce from their seasonal stall as well as a great range of accommodation.

Lake Monduran

You can't avoid Bass and Barra when it comes to Lake Monduran. You can do Barramundi charters, fish yourself for barra on the lake, eat barra, picnic with barra, barbecue with Barra and even be in a competition to catch the biggest Barra.
