Wine Tour - wineries and wine tasting

Wine tasting deluxe! Tour costs include lunch, tastings and refreshments! The full day Wine Essence tour offers a fantastic and fun filled opportunity to awaken your senses with a taste of award winning Queensland wines amongst the beautiful and tranquil Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland.

In addition to visiting three-four boutique wineries and tasting award winning wines you will experience the ambience of the Internationally acclaimed and Australia's most award winning distillery which offers tasters of high quality liqueurs, vodkas and schnapps from unique hand painted bottles. They also provide you with an opportunity see a working winery in operation.

The wineries on Tamborine Mountain are within close proximity of each other enabling short driving distances between cellar doors.

Art Tour - artists, art galleries and wine option

The full day ArtEssence tour offers a unique opportunity to meet four talented artists in their own studios and browse two charming art galleries all amongst the beautiful tranquil Tamborine Mountain. Tour costs include two course lunch, refreshments, wine tasting and personal guide.

Within their serene studio environments you will be able to informally chat to the artists, find out what inspirations they draw on and potentially see them at work

The artists' repertoire includes painting, drawing, ceramic art, sculpture, pottery, printmaking and hand made books.

Mixed media painting adopted by some artists demonstrate the use of ink, aluminium, coffee and bitumen. Acrylics and pastels as well as a combination of graphite, charcoal and oil paint mediums have been adopted by other artists.

Exquisite pottery depicts bird and poetry motifs whilst a stunning ceramics range includes unique didgeridoos and fine tableware and gifts.

Demonstrations of their work will be provided by some artists.

Brewery Tour - craft beer

The full day BrewEssence Brewery tour offers a fantastic and a fun filled opportunity to visit a number of popular micro breweries and experience the emerging craft beer culture in the beautiful Gold Coast surrounds and tranquil Tamborine Mountain. Tour costs include lunch, beer tastings, refreshments, luxury air conditioned vehicle and personal guide.

The tour visits a combination of three micro breweries / beer bars where you will taste a wide range of craft beer and be given the opportunity of a brewery tour which will take you through the brewing process.

They start the tour with a visit to their first micro brewery in the beautiful Tamborine Mountain where you will be provided with a paddle of fine craft beer for tasting.

After a leisurely lunch accompanied by more craft beer tastings they will head towards the Gold Coast where they will visit their second brewery in Burleigh Heads. Here you will be provided with a tour and another paddle of fine craft beer for tasting.

Scenic Rainforest Tour

Situated on the western side of Moreton Island, the Tangalooma Wrecks comprises 17 vessels deliberately sunk to not only form a breakwall for small boats, but also to create a unique and exciting wreck dive and snorkel site.

Hutchinson Shoal Dive Site

Hutchinson Shoal is the largest reef system off Brisbane and also one of the least dived. Located north of Moreton Island, Hutchinson Shoal is washed by strong currents and offers no protection in rough weather.

Marietta Dal Shipwreck Dive Site

Moreton Island,
The Marietta Dal was a 7500 tonne liberty ship built in the USA in 1944 and is one of the most interesting shipwrecks off Brisbane. On May 15 1950, the 140 metre long ship was carrying a cargo of sulphur, oil, tractors and other general cargo when it ran aground on Smith Rock.

Gotham City Dive Site

Gotham City, north of Brisbane’s Moreton Island, is one of the most spectacular dive sites in Queensland. Featuring a giant granite rock 15 metres tall, 40 metres long and 25 metres wide, with sheer cliffs off all edges, many divers compare the sight to a small version of the famous Uluru (or Ayers Rock).

Tangalooma Dolphin Feeding

Moreton Bay is home to approximately 600 bottlenose dolphins and each evening as the sun begins to set across the water, a small pod makes their way to the shores of Tangalooma Island Resort. Since 1992, resort guests have had the opportunity to hand feed the dolphins as part of the Tangalooma wild dolphin feeding program.
