Etty Bay

Located 15km from the township of Innisfail, Etty Bay is a popular locals beach, just big enough for the beach, a road, the Surf Life Saving Club and a small caravan park. The soft white-sand beach is backed by a narrow, tree-shaded reserve, then steep, forested slopes rising up to 250 m behind the beach.

Frankland Group National Park

Surrounded by extensive fringing reefs, the five islands of Frankland Group National Park feature rocky outcrops, dense rainforest, mangroves and coastal vegetation, making them a haven for wildlife. Featuring outcrops of weathered and eroded green and white metamorphic rock, the islands are part of the coastal mountain range which was separated from the mainland by a rise in sea level 6000 years ago.

Frankland Islands Dive Site

Pepina Falls

Pepina Falls are best viewed in the time just after the "Green Season". The "Green Season" sometimes known as the wet season runs from January to the end of April most years. Located in a little seen area off the Old Palmerston Highway (the scenic route between Millaa Millaa and Ravenshoe) on Maalan Road they certainly provide a photographic opportunity.
