  • 飛行機から飛び出てスカイダイビングに挑戦するか、放水時期のタリー川でラフティングなどで渓流下りを楽しむエキサイティングなアクティビティも!
  • 先住民ジラバル族やマムー族の通行用としてかつて使われていたミスティ・マウンテンの伝統トレイルをハイキングしたり、マウンテンバイクで走行してみよう。世にも珍しい巨鳥カソワリや見つけると幸せになれるラッキーなブルーバタフライ「ユリシス」の姿を探してみよう!

Mt Hypipamee

Upper Barron, Tablelands Area

The Hypipamee crater is referred to as a volcanic pipe. The pipe was opened upward through surface rocks by gas produced from molten rock below and as a result of tremendous pressure, the vent exploded sending volcanic bombs far across the landscape.

Curtain Fig Tree

The Curtain Fig National Park contains the renowned Curtain Fig Tree, an enormous strangler fig tree. Located a short drive out of Yungaburra, a small town in the Atherton Tableland, the giant tree has several aerial roots hanging down from its branches that look like curtains.

Millstream Falls National Park

Plunging over the edge of a columnar basalt lava flow, Big Millstream Falls is reputedly the widest single-drop waterfall in Australia. Wander down the walking track leads to spectacular views of the falls.

Goldsborough Valley, Wooroonooran National Park

Beaver Reef Dive Site

Mission Beach, Cassowary Coast Area
Beaver Reef is one of the most popular dive sites off Mission Beach with coral gardens, bommies and sloping coral walls in depths to 22 metres. Off the southern side of the reef is a site called Shark Alley.

Curtain Fig National Park

Yungaburra, Tablelands Area

View a spectacular curtain fig tree from different vantage points along a boardwalk in this small but popular national park. This large fig tree is unique because the extensive aerial roots, that drop 15 metres to the forest floor, have formed a 'curtain'.

Josephine Falls, Wooroonooran National Park

Josephine Creek starts as a gentle trickle high on the south-east side of the summit of Queensland's highest mountain, Bartle Frere. By the time it has travelled the 7.5 kilometres to the smooth granite boulders of Josephine Falls, it is a thundering torrent that will take your breath away.

Souita Falls

Souita Falls are near to Millaa Millaa on Middlebrook Road off the Old Palmerston Highway which once was the road connecting Millaa Millaa and Ravenshoe - the highest town in Queensland, now a scenic route (not suitable for caravans) between the two towns.
