Wondai Street Sprints

Wondai, South Burnett Area

14 – 15 April 2018 -

Indicative Rate * AU$15.00 to AU$25.00

Following the inaugural Wondai Street Sprint held in 2016, and the follow-up in 2017, the next event in 2018 promises to be bigger and better than ever. Held on a brand new asphalt track provided by the South Burnett Regional Council and run from a safety perspective under the banner of C.A.M.S. the committee is looking to build on the accolades received from competitors in previous years as one of the best events of its type they have attended.

For 2018, a change of date to mid April is expected to encourage more Historic cars to the event and following the acquisition of more concrete barriers, spectator viewing areas will be extended and augmented by grandstand seating at a number of interesting locations. Over time, the Wondai Street Sprint is expected to become a major event on the sporting calendar for race cars in South East Queensland.

Tallebudgera Valley

Tallebudgera Valley, Gold Coast Area
Its formal name is Tallebudgera Valley but in true Aussie minimalist style, you'll probably hear locals around these parts refer to it as the Tally Valley. However you prefer to wrap your mouth around it, this lush valley at the back of Tallebudgera Beach leads you into emerald-green farmland and natural forests and the relaxed ambience for which the southern Gold Coast is renowned.

Currumbin

Currumbin, Gold Coast Area
The coastal nook of Currumbin on the Southern Gold Coast is a haven of pristine beaches and calm waterways attracting surfers and SUP enthusiasts by the dozen. Swim in the sheltered waters of Tallebudgera Creek and the Currumbin Rock Pools and test your balance kite-surfing or kayaking.

Palm Beach

Palm Beach, Gold Coast Area
If the Gold Coast had a middle child it would possibly be Palm Beach, nestled between Tallebudgera Creek on one side and Currumbin Creek on the other. But don't for one minute think this destination is dull.
