On Thursday 16 November 2017, Qantas will mark its ninety-seventh birthday. On this day the Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited, QANTAS, was registered as a company in Brisbane. Qantas went on to set up operations and mail routes through Western Queensland and the Northern Territory. From these small beginnings, Qantas has grown into the major airline it is today.
Qantas Founders Museum is dedicated to telling the story of Qantas and they would like to invite you to join them to celebrate the birthday of Qantas with a morning tea in McGinness’ Restaurant at 10.30am on Thursday 16 November 2017. This event is free to attend.
To share in the celebrations of the day, Qantas Founders Museum will also provide free entry to their museum.
