Come and a unique cultural experience by celebrating the indigenous cultures of Australia, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people. Be entertained by emerging artists, local and regional cultural groups and more importantly taste their traditional foods. There will be plenty to do and see from cultural workshops, street parades, fireworks display, live music and much more.

Whilst you're up there for the cultural experience, be sure to check out the local fishing spots throughout the Cape, yarn with the locals and check into one of their camping grounds situated right on the beach.

Plenty to do and see in the Northern Peninsula Region, fun for the whole family.

Hallorans Hill Conservation Park

This park, in the middle of the township of Atherton, protects eucalypt forest and a remnant of the endangered mabi forest on an extinct volcanic cone. The cone is part of the legacy of the Atherton Tableland's fiery geological past.

Tolga

Tolga, Tablelands Area
Tolga is within approximately eight kilometres from Atherton, travelling through the rainforest canopied Kennedy Highway. Tolga presents a quaint little town with good examples of early Queensland architecture.
