Tickled Pink CQ Inc is proud to host the fourth Mud Run Emerald event.

Mud Run Emerald is the major fundraiser for local Central Highlands regional cancer support groups. Have fun with their five kilometre mud run with obstacles to suit all abilities.

Located in Emerald, the event is held to raise vital funds for local cancer support group services in and around the Central Highlands region. Mud Run Emerald is located on 80 acres with a five kilometre challenge to suit all fitness levels. There are over 20 obstacles, mud pits, dams, climbing walls, tyres and much more. Spectators are able to come and view some of the action from the big screen which shows real time experiences from the track in the comfort of their entertainment area.

The remains of an old fishing boat gave this site its name, but with little of the wreck to see divers will have more fun exploring the caves, gutters, ledges and bommies at this fascinating dive site.

Wangetti Beach

Wangetti, Douglas Area
Local secret Wangetti Beach is just north of Palm Cove in Tropical North Queensland. Running from Slip Cliff Point to Red Cliff Point, the four kilometres of almost straight coastline has no facilities, with only a car park on either end of the beach and a stretch of highway connecting them.

The Point Dive Site

Port Douglas, Douglas Area
The Point is a dive site on Agincourt Reef No.4, off Port Douglas, that both divers and snorkelers will love. For the snorkeler or the inexperienced diver there are fabulous coral gardens in the shallow lagoon, in depths from 1 metre to 8 metres.

Barracuda Bommie Dive Site

With a name like Barracuda Bommie you would expect to see barracuda at this dive site, and fortunately it rarely disappoints. Located on the Agincourt Reefs, off Port Douglas, Barracuda Bommie is a giant pinnacle of coral that rises from the sandy sea floor at 26 metres.

Wonga Beach

Named after the beautiful Torres Strait pigeon, Wonga Beach is a quiet refuge north of Mossman. Off shore there are views to Snapper Island and it is within easy access to the Daintree River and its rainforest habitat.

Newell Beach

Tucked away between glamorous Port Douglas and the vast wilderness of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park is the sleepy beachside community of Newell Beach. Newell Beach boasts spectacular views to Port Douglas in the south and the lighthouse on Low Isles to the east.

Nursery Bommie Dive Site

One of the most impressive dive sites on the Agincourt Reefs, off Port Douglas, is a large pinnacle called Nursery Bommie. This column of coral rises from 25 metres to 30 metres and is decorated with sea whips, soft corals and gorgonians, but it is the fish life that will be most remembered.

Stretching from Daintree Village across the river, the Daintree encompasses Cape Kimberley, Cow Bay, Thornton's Peak, Cooper Creek, Thornton Beach, Noah Valley, Cape Tribulation and the Bloomfield Track to the north.
