Highlights this year at Bony Mountain Folk Festival are a special tribute to Slim Dusty with a gallery, a huge exhibition, and the dedication of a special Sandstone Memorial which will be unveiled by Slim's daughter Anne Kirkpatrick and members of Slim's family.
There will be a Slim Dusty Family show on Saturday night. VIP guest is footy legend Shane Webke. The big line up of top artists includes: Hill Billy Goats, Anne Kirkpatrick, Phil and Chris Coad, Gary Fogarty, Errol Gray, Pixie Jenkins, Norma O’Hara Murphy, Jeff Brown, Dean Perrett, Cape Byron Celtic Dancers, Warwick Pipe Thistle Band, Daryl Craft, Blue Violets, Emmagen, The Bums Ukulele Group, Ukulele workshop, Wheatvale School Choir, Warwick Choral Group and much more!
Saturday is their big family day with Pirate Cave, Treasure Hunt, Captain Jack and free activities, a Fairy Cave catering for little ones and face painting.
CWA ladies will do morning and afternoon teas. Boutique coffee will be available along with top fillet steaks and chips at The Shack and wood-fired pizza and Spring Dell fruit wines.
Walk Up program kicks off Monday evening, and brings fabulous entertainment every day until Friday morning when the main Festival kicks off!
