Our Rooms

Budget Cabin

The Budget Cabins are well appointed with open plan living area, ensuite, fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and television. Sleeping four to six people, the cabins are ideal for the no fuss family getaway.

Cabins consists of one double bed, one set of bunks, one set of stacker beds (for children only).

Linen is available for hire.

2 Bedroom Cabin

The cabins consist of two separate bedrooms, lounge/dining area, fully self-contained kitchen, ensuite bathroom and large shady veranda. They sleep five people comfortably and include reverse cycle air-conditioning, television and DVD player, large fridge, bench top stove, microwave and ceiling fans. The rates include linen for all guests.

Open Plan and Disabled Cabin

The renovated cabins are well appointed with open plan living area, ensuite and fully equipped kitchens, air-conditioning and television with DVD player. The rates include linen for the double bed.

The ground level Disabled Cabin facility has a large dedicated parking area outside the front door with full wheelchair access to the entire cabin floor area and veranda. There is a double bed, couch and bunk bed, as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning. The fully self-catering kitchen/dining area includes crockery, cutlery, microwave, stove and large fridge. The special needs friendly bathroom includes all grab rails, shower seat and wash hand basin. The rates include linen for the double bed only.

1 Bedroom Villa

The cabins consist of one bedroom with a queen size bed, lounge/dining area, fully self-contained kitchen, ensuite bathroom and large shady veranda. They sleep two people comfortably and include reverse cycle air-conditioning, television and DVD player, large fridge, bench top stove, microwave and ceiling fans. The rates include linen for all guests.

Camping Sites

The shaded camping sites with power are ideal for your relaxed holiday. Caravan sites are serviced with power, water, sullage and concrete annexe slabs.

They can cater for large or small caravans. Their campsites are quite generous in size to accommodate the larger tents and camper trailers.

The park is set in a quiet tropical atmosphere with solar heated swimming pool, games room, a large camp kitchen.

Dorm Style Cottage

Dorm Style Cottage accommodation includes three sets of bunk beds (six bunk beds in total). Cottage is priced per bunk bed with all linen included.

The cottage is fully self-contained with bathroom and a well equipped full sized kitchen, television, air-conditioning, lockers, and one car space provided.

This is Backpacker style accommodation.

Hallorans Hill Conservation Park

Wongabel State Forest

This state forest protects a remnant of an endangered type of forest, known as mabi forest. Here, in 1903, red cedar seedlings were planted in the forest to replace mature trees which had been logged. Commercial plantations of hoop, kauri and Caribbean pine now grow beside native forest.

Specimen Hill Lookout

Mt Hypipamee Crater and Dinner Falls

The Hypipamee crater is referred to as a volcanic pipe. The pipe was opened upward through surface rocks by gas produced from molten rock below and as a result of tremendous pressure, the vent exploded sending volcanic bombs far across the landscape.

Tolga is within approximately eight kilometres from Atherton, travelling through the rainforest canopied Kennedy Highway. Tolga presents a quaint little town with good examples of early Queensland architecture.
