Gindabara is a comfortable, laid back, no-internet getaway for groups of 10-20 people on Coochiemudlo Island in Moreton Bay. The one-acre property has a secluded parkland feel with large trees and open areas, set in a quiet street on a quiet island between an orchard and mature forest.

Morwong beach is 200 metres away for fishing or swimming; there are walks along western (mangrove) and eastern sides of the island (melaleucas); there are also opportunities for golf, tennis, bowls, and early morning paddles in Hawaiian outrigger canoes.

A well-equipped kitchen with adjoining large hall and screened deck area is popular for eating together, playing games or doing puzzles; while the nearby games room can be used for table tennis, foosball, music (LP's), puzzles and more.

Three cabins and a cottage provide comfortable self-contained and air-conditioned accommodation for 14 people, or a few more if the group makes use of extra folding beds. Gindabara is a flexible venue, having already been used for family get-togethers, staff retreats, special events, yoga workshops, and dance seminars.

Gindabara is only one hour from Brisbane, including the ferry trip.
