Down Under Cruise and Dive operate Australia's most luxurious reef vessel Evolution (a large, modern award-winning catamaran) cruising at high speed, providing a superior and comfortable ride in nearly all weather conditions. Professional, friendly and attentive staff ensure a safe and enjoyable, fun-filled experience. The two outer reef locations have been carefully selected for the clarity of the water and the abundance and diversity of marine life. Every moment spent exploring the magnificent array of colourful coral formations and swimming with the brilliant coloured fish is one of discovery, often exciting, sometimes breathtaking, with unforgettable memories that will stay with you for a lifetime. Visiting two spectacular outer reef sites in one day you will spend maximum time in the water and minimum time travelling. Great for all ages!

Barbecue lunch, snorkelling equipment and tuition and onboard entertainment are included in the standard reef tour. Extra options include scuba diving, semi-submersible tour, helicopter scenic flights, marine biology lessons/tours and PADI dive courses.

Less travel time, more time at the reef. Professional, friendly and attentive staff ensure a safe and enjoyable fun filled experience. A free snorkel tour is also available on the day for those less confident in the open water and for those who want to learn about the reef.

Cheepie

Mount Slowcombe Lookout is located close to the small town of Yaraka. The panoramic view takes in the nearby Yang Yang ranges and plains and grazing lands of the surrounding country side. This is an ideal place to enjoy the stunning outback sunset or the glorious colours of a sunrise.

Morven

Morven, Murweh Area
In 1859 on the mail route from Brisbane to Charleville, a small area was taken from the property Victoria Downs and set aside for public use and designated on maps and documents as 'Victoria Downs Reserve'.

Adavale

Adavale, Quilpie Area
Once a thriving town and business centre, Adavale's population has dwindled to around 15 today. Changing the planned railway line from Adavale to what is now Quilpie, was the beginning of the end for this pioneering town's prosperity.

Amby

Amby, Maranoa Area
Amby, originally called Amby Creek, became a township in 1883 and forms part of the eastern boundary of the Outback region. It can best be described as where the grain and the grazing belts meet. The Old Stage Changeover Shanty - known to the locals as Netting Hole - dates back to 1875 and is located on the northern side of town, along the Warrego Highway near Amby Downs waterhole.

Yaraka

Yaraka, Longreach Area
The small township of Yaraka is situated 100 kilometres away from Isisford, nestled between Mesa Hills with the backdrop being the Yang Yang Ranges that offer unique and spectacular picture post card.The gem that Yaraka can offer to visitors is the nearby Mt Slowcombe with a tar sealed road winding its way to the top making it easily accessible even for cars.

Augathella

Augathella, with its fascinating history of bushrangers, bullockies and bullock teams, has some memorable Outback experiences. Don’t just drive through – stop and enjoy Augathella’s colourful history, characters and humour.

Mungallala

Mungallala, Maranoa Area
Mungallala, said to mean 'food and water' is the site of a cypress sawmill, located about half way between Mitchell and Morven where the Warrego Highway crosses the Mungallala Creek. Mungallala originated as a railway town and is a wonderful place to stop for lunch and experience the workings of an outback town.

Charleville

Immortalised in Slim Dusty's song by the same name, Charleville is the largest town in Queensland's south west and is a hub for visitors and pastoralists alike. In the heart of 'mulga country', Charleville and surrounding pastoral properties are rich in history, flora and fauna.
