Gudda Gumoo (Rainbow Waters)

Gudda Gumoo (Rainbow Waters) tracks are located in the Blackdown Tableland National Park. Rising abruptly above the surrounding dry plains, Blackdown Tableland protects spectacular sandstone scenery at the north-eastern edge of the Central Queensland sandstone belt.

Goolman Lookout Trail

The Goolman Lookout trail forms part of the Flinders-Goolman Conservation Estate managed by Ipswich City Council, and is accessed from the Hardings Paddock Picnic Area off Carmichael's Road in Purga, just South of Ipswich.

Ironbark Ridge and Spotted Gum Walking Trails

Ironbark Ridge and Spotted Gum Walking Trails are set amongst the tranquil grassy open forest of Sheepstation Creek Conservation Park in Upper Caboolture and can be accessed from the Grey Gum Circuit. Both short walking trails cross the middle of the park and connect to the Grey Gum Circuit at each end.

Araucaria track, D'Aguilar National Park

Starting at Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre, in D'Aguilar National Park, this walk winds along the forested shores of picturesque Enoggera Reservoir, before looping back around one of the reservoir's peninsulas.

Queen Mary Track

Byfield, Livingstone Area
Walk through this 'moonscape' to see the power of Mother Nature at work among the shifting sands. Located in the Byfield National Park, the Queen Mary Track offers spectacular coastal scenery, remote camping spots and an endless stretch of rolling sand dunes.

The prosperity and pioneering heritage of Mackay is reflected within the Central Business District, a collection of beautifully preserved buildings and art, which give an insight into the region's diverse history.

Billai dhagun Circuit (Place of She-Oaks)

This track winds through many wetland communities. Observe the distinct changes in vegetation in response to salt levels. A bird hide is situated on the junction of Nundah and Cabbage Tree Creeks. Some of the Nurri Millen totems can be seen on this walk.

Daves Creek circuit, Lamington National Park

Branching off the Border track, you’ll wind through an amazing variety of forests types. From lush rainforest to towering eucalypts, and sparse mallee woodland to colourful montane heath, this walk is a botanical delight.
