Jumrum Creek Walk, Jumrum Creek Conservation Park

The Jumrum Creek walk is within the Jumrum Creek Conservation Park, which protects a small pocket of rainforest in the middle of the Kuranda township. The park encompasses rainforest along a section of Jumrum Creek before it flows into the nearby Barron River.

Kimberley Forest Trail

A visit to the park in the cool hours of the early mornings and evenings will reward you with sightings of swamp and red-necked wallabies grazing on the grassy slopes. The park's rainforest gully provides a cool, moist environment with rock pools fed by permanent springs.

Coral Coast Pathways (Elliot Heads Section)

As a part of the Coral Coast Pathways walking tracks, the Elliot Heads Section provides a unique coastal experience. The Journey commences at Life Savers Park at the mouth of the Elliot River through to Bill Stockwell Park at the northern point of Elliot Heads overlooking rural land then beyond to the northern area of Coral Cove.

Coral Coast Pathways (Moore Park Beach Section)

Coral Coast Pathways begins from the north starting at Moore Park Beach. The walk starts from the entrance around the lagoon and lookout precinct, following the coastline through Bob Nielson Park and Recreational Hub to Claude Dooley Park.
