Sarina Sugar Shed

Sarina, Mackay Area

Their miniature sugar mill and distillery is open all year round, visitors of any age can enjoy a fully personalised guided tour of the entire facility and see firsthand how sugar is grown, processed, milled and distilled in the unique miniature mill. The tour takes you on a 'touchy-feely-tasty' journey of three generations of farming sugar cane.

On a tour experience the tasting of products produced right here. Gourmet sauces, liqueurs and schnapps. Products produced using local produce that will tantalise your taste buds. Kids will love the fairy floss.

Make sure you try their famous Sugar Shed Rum. Like their distillery, Sugar Shed Rum is one of a kind. Fashioned from Queensland's famous Sarina sugar cane, their story is told through its flavour - original, exciting, refined.
