Harvest Restaurant and Bar is located in Metro Hotel Ipswich International at 43 South Street, Ipswich.
Harvest Restaurant and Bar serves dishes using the local produce of the Greater Ipswich Region, from the Lockyer Valley to the Scenic Rim and Somerset.
The restaurant offers a more relaxed lunch menu throughout the day, and a full a-la-carte dinner menu of an evening with a selection of meals to suit every taste.
Head Chef Lachlan Howieson said Harvest Restaurant’s menu will change each season to reflect the best quality produce the region has to offer.
“Our winter menu offers a nine-hour slow-cooked lamb shank which is very popular with guests and locals alike. We also have beef in a red wine sauce, steak and mushrooms, pork belly and a risotto of chicken, pumpkin, sage, pistachio and parmesan, delicious comfort food for the cooler weather,” Lachlan said.
The desserts are equally delicious. Harvest Restaurant offers a house made brownie with toffee crumb, rosemary salted caramel and vanilla ice cream, sticky date pudding with toasted nuts, fig and butterscotch sauce, and lime curd tart with fresh raspberries.
