The Queen’s Baton Relay (QBR) is a Games tradition that celebrates the Commonwealth’s diversity, inspires community pride and excites people about the world-class festival of sports and culture to come.

The Relay arrives in Townsville on Sunday 18 March and will move from West End to Jezzine Barracks from 2pm to 5.30pm. On Monday the Relay will begin at 7.40 am from Reid Park finishing in Cranbrook at 9.45 am. More details will be released early February 2018, please refer to the Townsville City Council website for more information.
