Come along every Sunday morning and enjoy fun and engaging story-telling sessions with their talented Museum team, dance to your own rhythm as part of Anne Scott Wilson’s exhibition Every Day I Wait, create your own kite as part of the inspiring Kite Wishes Project at their MoB Maker station and beat the crowds to their family-friendly summer show Mao’s Last Dancer the exhibition.

Stories include Li Cunxin’s children’s book The Peasant Prince and other titles focused on inspiring stories and dance.

King George Square car park offers AUD5 specials on weekends and evenings.

All arts activities and exhibitions are free, except Mao’s Last Dancer the exhibition which is ticketed. A family pass is AUD30. Children under five are free.

While other suburbs snatch their names from exotic Aboriginal meanings or English seaside villages, Main Beach is far more literal. Situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Main Beach was so named as it was the main surf beach to the town of Southport.
